welcome to wye valley flowers
Award winning florist, flower school and flower farm

Wye Valley Flowers was launched in 2020, based on a passion for all things floral – especially seasonally grown, British flowers.

I worked part-time as a florist in my 20s, but life then took me off to university and then away to work in the Middle East. However, I never lost my passion for gardening and all things floral. Since moving to the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean area 12 years ago, I have been running floristry courses, using homegrown flowers and farm-foraged foliage – alongside teaching sustainability at university.

A few years ago I discovered the average bouquet has traveled 4,000 miles and realised there must be a more sustainable way to enjoy beautiful commercially bought flowers, for the home and events – that don’t cost the earth! So in 2019 we launched our sustainable flower farm and I updated my training as an eco-florist, committing to using British flowers and no floral foam.

We offer a full range of floristry and floral design services – from gift bouquets to weddings, funeral tributes to events. Our floral arrangements are romantic, cottage garden, vintage, and hedgerow inspired. Each one is unique and captures a snapshot of what is growing on the farm and in the meadow that season. No air miles or nasty chemicals – simply nurtured by the sun and rain, with love.

I am a third-generation flower farmer – My grandfather also came to flower farming later in life, helped by my Mum – who traveled to Holland in the early 60s to see the bulb fields. He loved roses, dahlias, daisies, and foxgloves. I hope he would have been proud to have inspired a third-generation grower, keeping the tradition going.

I’m absolutely thrilled to have been asked to represent Flowers From The Farm, with 80 other growers across the British Isles to send flowers for the coronation of His Majesty King Charles III at Westminster Abbey.

I am delighted the award-winning flower farm will be opening for its 4th growing season this year.

We are lucky enough to have a large flower studio and workshop space on site, offering courses from March through to Christmas. We offer bespoke courses for groups, such as our hen party flower crowns or talks to local special interest groups. Email us at info@wyevalleyflowers.com if you would like to discuss an idea.

We are also open to the public during British Flowers week each year for our own FlowerFest, offering tours, crafts stalls, food, and demonstrations. We also run volunteer days from February, at key points through the season for anyone interested in becoming a flower farmer to find out more about the work.

I am delighted the award-winning flower farm will be opening for its 4th growing season this year. We opened our boutique glamping site in 2021 and have welcomed 200 guests onto the farm – couples, single travelers, and families who love to walk past the flowers each day. We do live in a stunning part of the world, with lots of local activities for lovers of the outdoors.

We offer beautifully printed and packaged gift vouchers, available in any denomination. Valid for one year. These can be posted out free of charge or added to a flower order. As an example, £30 is an ideal amount for the recipient to order a bouquet or to book one of our workshops.
