Our couples choose Wye Valley Flowers to create their wedding flowers, because they know flowers are an integral part of any celebration, offering another opportunity to personalise the event but also because they are looking for a more eco-conscious wedding celebration. The average bridal bouquet has traveled over 4,000 miles often in huge chilled lorries from farms using chemicals banned in the EU – but beautiful wedding flowers don’t have to cost the earth!
We offer seasonally grown flowers in a range of palettes inspired by quintessentially British country gardens and rural hedgerows.
Many of the blooms you’ll find on our patch are not available in a traditional florist shop, often because they don’t transport well – this includes camassia, astrantia, forget-me-knots, campion, Cerinthe, orlaya, clary sage and many more!
Flowers that travel well in containers over 1,000s of miles, often don’t have a scent. Our flowers, for example, sweet rocket and sweet peas have a divine perfume and we include herbs such as mint varieties into our work too – creating a personalised perfume for the day.
Our fully bespoke service includes romantic bridal party bouquets, flower crowns, flower-girl wands, corsages and boutonnieres, arches, pillars, moongates, ‘showstopping’ flower clouds, meadow boxes, thank you bouquets and pedestal arrangements.
We also offer DIY wedding buckets of blooms for creative bridal parties to make their own arrangements, from £70 for 60 mixed-value stems. We provide a helpful Bucket Calculator on booking.
We work with many local florists who also want to add something unique to their wedding flowers and offer wholesale prices, on application.
We also offer naturally dried petal confetti, incorporating our favourite flowers from our farm and surrounding meadow – often from flowers with a romantic meaning in the language of flowers. We can supply these packaged (£1 each) or in bulk (£25 per litre).
